Microeconomic Analysis
Objectives
The purpose of this course is to deepen the understanding of the analytical tools of microeconomics and promote their application, at an intermediate level. We will revisit the standard tools - concepts and models - aiming at developing both practical skills and a critical mind, as a basis for study and research in all other areas of economics.

Teaching method
This course contains 24 80-minute in-person classes over 12 weeks. Prior to each class, students read the required reading. Classes are devoted to the active discussion of exercises and policy topics. Two take-home assignments complement students' learning. Additional voluntary study material is provided. Good preparation and active participation of students are necessary.
Evaluation method
Quizzes (5%) Midterm (30%), 22 Oct 2022, 90 minutes Research Proposal (25%, pre-assigned groups of 2-4 students), Final exam (40%, minimum grade 8.0/20)
