Policy Analysis Exercise
Objectives
The main aim of this course is to prepare students for their Policy Analysis Projects. A secondary aim of this course is to ensure students gain a better understanding of the controversies and trade offs involved in policy formulation and implementation. Students will be exposed to and have the opportunity to interact to different institutions that collaborate with the MIDPP, learning about their opportunities and challenges. Students will be requested to focus on one particular policy area and then in a project , to be developed in small teams together with an academic supervisor. The students' work in this course will also be shaped by the knowledge they obtain from the other MIDPP courses.

Teaching method
This course has an irregular frequency, spanning T2, T3 and T4. The course combines in class assignments, presentations by students, and sessions of interaction with partner organizations.

Selected topics in policy design, implementation, and analysis. Presentations by - and discussions with - the members of Nova SBE Knowledge Centers on their policy-related projects. Presentations of project plans for the Policy Analysis Projects.
