Global Talent Management
Objectives
Would you consider yourself a high potential and future global leader? Do you think large corporations would think the same? Did you ever wonder how large global companies attract and develop talent? What do you think is the impact of sustainability, artificial intelligence, agile management, and data science on talent management practices? And how should you prepare yourself to become a high potential/high impact leader? These are some of the questions we will be working on in this course. We will help you explore your leadership potential and how you can accelerate your career by understanding how large corporations approach talent management. The surprising truth is that while scholars and executives alike often say that human capital is the most important asset of an organization, most people fail to understand how large global companies really go about managing their talent and developing a pipeline of future leaders. This is at odds with the ambition of any CEMS student to have a high-impact career. This course aims to fill that gap.
