Education objectives
Drastic changes
in the world can generate gains and losses for the economy and opportunities
for entrepreneurs who know how to explore them. More than creating new
products, an entrepreneur must be able to develop business models, leaving its
mark on the society.
The
Executive Master’s in Innovation & Entrepreneurship aims to train managers and
leaders capable of questioning, discover, and create, contributing to the
development of their businesses and the economy Taking advantage of the entire
innovation ecosystem and existing entrepreneurship in Portugal and the position
of Nova SBE, will be developed concepts and processes that will contribute to
transform the practice in their companies.
Students are
expected to develop skills such as:
Using entrepreneurship and innovation skills and mindset in your
organization’s context.
Creating disruptive business models based on a culture centred around
the client.
Understanding the main currents and philosophies of thought that
characterize innovation and entrepreneurship and how these affect the business.
Identifying new opportunities for value creation or to test new models for customer relationship.

Degree pre-requisites
Completion of 60 ECTS distributed as follows: 30 ECTS in curricular units + 30 ECTS in thesis (Workproject)
For the Master graduation, it’s necessary to fulfill the
academic requirements and the number of ECTS indicated, as per the course offered
in the academic year. Courses on offer are subject to change. The course’s
syllabi report to the current academic year. The update syllabi will be
available at the beginning of each term.
Conditions of admittance
Holders of a bachelor’s
degree or equivalent, or holder of a foreign higher academic degree following a
1st cycle of studies according to the Bologna process, or holder of an equivalent
academic degree acquired abroad that is recognized by Nova SBE.
Hold an academic degree
in areas such as Management, Technologies, Social Sciences, or similar.
Have at least 5 years of experience in functions relevant to their academic area, preferably as executives and or managers who intend to improve or update their skills in the areas of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
