Objectives

CEOs believe sustainability is one of the most important challenges they face. The module (1) provides an overview of the global sustainability market and examines the financial relevance of sustainability practices to corporations and investors; (2) explores how banks and investment firms may integrate ESG policies, practices, and data into their companies, processes, decisions, and products (credit lines, bonds, funds); and (3) covers the collection and usage of ESG data and the disclosure of ESG practices by companies; and (4) anticipates trends and challenges in the global ESG market. Through the course, several case studies will be analyzed and discussed.
