Objectives

By completing this curricular unit students should be able to:

Understand what a business model is, what the main building blocks of a business model are (and the key relationships between them);

Recognize the economic assumptions underlying each business model

Identify the main trends (e.g. sustainability, digitalization) and their impacts on the relationship with customers

Understand the difference between strategy and business models;

Identify the main growth strategies;

Understand the importance of strategic agility in dynamic and complex environments;

Recognize the importance of strategic ambidexterity in innovation processes.
