Teaching method

Teaching methodologies include theoretical, theoretical-practical classes and seminars. In theoretical classes, the procedures and principles associated with each of the stages of the health communication process are introduced. Theoretical-practical classes focus on concrete concepts and skills, viewing examples of health communication, analyzing interventions and health communication pieces using debate and brainstorming and performing role-play exercises. At the same time, the development of the group work throughout the curricular unit, allows the teacher to propose specific challenges related to the syllabus. The seminars consist of the presentation and discussion of the works developed by the students, in a format of "presentation to stakeholders".
The assessment consists of: Participation (10%); Individual exercises (30%); Presentation of group work (40%); Individual written reflection (20%).
