Objectives

- Define the concept of Mental Health, its historical evolution;
- Identify the determinants of mental Health;
- Clearly understand the difference between Mental Health and the non existence of Mental disease;
- Know the social and individual impact of a poor mental health and mental diseases;
- to know the different theoretical models that contribute to the concept of Mental Health;
- to know Mental Health Promotion Programs that demonstrated to be efficient
- Design and implement a MHP program;
- To have knowledge about specific areas of MHP as pregnancy and early childhood, immigrant integration, domestic violence and stigma;
¿ To know how services organization are crucial to the design and success of MHP Programs.
