Teaching method

Classes will include:


(1) demonstration of the tools, with immediate use by the students;


(2) discussion of the potential and pitfalls of using technology, through readings and critical comments;


(3) practice in creating materials for distance learning;


(4) developing their own techniques for using the tools

Evaluation method

1. Work done during the semester - 40%


2. A 12-page written paper on the practical application of a teaching tool - 60%.

Subject matter

I. Technological tools


1) Technology to help the teacher: online research techniques; use of word processing and data processing programmes; tools for creating materials.


2. Technologies in the classroom: use of interactive equipment; techniques for using audiovisual materials.


3. Distance learning technologies: video creation tools; web page creation methods and techniques; use of educational content management programmes.


II. Use of educational technologies


1. Reflection on the potential and pitfalls of using technology in the classroom.


2. Techniques and methods for using technology, simulating the use of tools in realistic scenarios.


III. Research into educational technologies


Guided preparation of a practical guide / case study on the use of a tool adapted to each student's area of expertise.
