Anthropology and Art Practice
Objectives
1. To provide a set of theoretical tools for the study of contemporary artistic practices, privileging the anthropological perspective.
2. To situate students in the disciplinary subfield of Anthropology of Art and in the respective theoretical-conceptual framework.
3. To situate students critically in the recent developments in this area of study, in particular in the methodological transits between anthropology and contemporary art.
4. To stimulate the capacity for critical analysis of specific ethnographies related to the themes of the course unit.

Teaching method
Course unit. presents a theoretical-practical methodology, lectures with various audiovisual materials and discussion sessions promoted by the students, centered on the presentation and critical commentary of previously selected texts.
Evaluation method
Continuous assessment - The assessment will consist of the presentation and oral discussion of texts by the students and a written essay where the student will integrate the knowledge acquired throughout the semester(100%)
