1. Understand the theoretical framework and concepts related to digital tools in language teaching
2. Develop skills in the use of technological tools for language teaching
3. Reflect critically on the use of technology in language teaching and on the interaction between tools and humans

Teaching method
(1) preliminary reading and critical analysis of relevant literature on digital tools in language teaching;
(2) use and practical analysis of digital tools;
(3) presentation of case studies on the use of technology in language teaching, in terms of advantages as well as difficulties in applying the tools;
(4) discussion of scientific methods of analysis for application to the use of technology in language teaching, including methods and tools of Digital Humanities;
(5) development of autonomous research work analysing aspects of the use of digital tools in teaching or, alternatively, proposing an innovative tool or an innovative use of a digital tool applied to language teaching.
Evaluation method
Continuous assessment - The evaluation will include continuous assessment (classroom presentations, group discussions) and research work. Research work will be presented in the form of a paper ready for publication and will then be presented in class for discussion.(100%)
