Topics on Lusophone Literatures
Objectives
a) To promote the teaching and dissemination of national literatures written in Portuguese;
b) To promote the comparative study of fundamental works from different national literatures written in Portuguese;
c) To broaden students' sensitivity to the problems of comparative literature in the context of a "same language";
d) To develop the students' awareness of literary heritage and tradition, and of specific problems and theoretical issues central to the study of literature.
