2.Rome in the early Republic. The structure of the republican regime. The 12 tables law. Social and political configuration. The society evolution between the 1st and 2nd Punic Wars. The 2nd Punic War.
3. The expansion in the Mediterranean. Late Republic. The Gracchi. Marius and Sila, The 1st triunvirate. The Imperatores confrontation. The 2nd triunvirate and the rise of Octavius.
4. Introduction to Imperial and Late Antique chronology. Theories on Ancient economy and the economical cicles. t
5. The Principate: political evolution, society, economy and administration.
6. LAte Empire and Late Antiquity: from 235 to 364 dAD. Christiana Tempora.
