Teaching method
Theoretical-practical lessons. The aim is to provide students with general knowledge about psychological development in childhood and specific knowledge about musical development from 0 to 5 years old. Practical and dynamic group activities are also envisaged. The observation of videos related to musical interventions in childhood aims to develop students' ability to listen and analyse vocalizations, especially in early childhood. The observation (in a real context) of a musical intervention with children with special educational needs also fosters consolidation of specific knowledge and reflection on appropriate pedagogical practices.
Evaluation method
Continuous assessment - Analysis of the interaction observed in an excerpt of a video from the "Madrinhas de Colo" project(50%), Critical analysis of the bibliographical references indicated for each class (1-2 pages, to be delivered at the next class)(50%)
