Mobile Networks

Objectives

The objectives of this course are focused on understanding the structure of a cellular network and the roles assigned to the different functional blocks. It is also studied the operational principles of a few local area network protocols. Students acquire skills in the simulation of cellular systems, studying the performance of these systems for different scenarios of propagation. The course also includes the development of applications for next-generation cellular systems.
