Teaching method
The teaching methodology emphasises reflection and discussion on the defined syllabus, delivered by the lecturer. As this is a comprehensive course on Family and Children's Law, where it is essential to provide students with fundamental knowledge, the primary method will be expository. However, active student participation will always be encouraged, allowing for discussion, engagement with the topics, and fostering research. This approach will enable students to complete an individual assignment, which will serve as their main assessment component.
The study of Family and Children's Law is approached from both a synchronic perspective—ensuring an understanding of the conceptual framework and legal norms—and a diachronic perspective, examining general legal systems and instruments at both international and regional levels.
From mid-March onwards, students will present assignments on topics related to the course content, which is entirely taught by the lecturer. These topics will then be further developed in their final projects.
