Teaching method

Theoretical-practical classes, with high student participation, which stimulate critical thinking and the discussion of practical problems and controversial issues.

Evaluation method

  1. Individual or group work on a topic to be defined jointly with the teacher, which presupposes an oral presentation and discussion in class, as well as the subsequent submission of a written report, until the date to be defined with the teacher.

  1. Final Exam

The weighting of the exam and the other assessment elements (individual or group work) will be 50%-50%. The system will average the marks for the other assessment elements (individual or group work) and the exam mark, if the marks for the other elements are higher than the exam mark. If the exam mark is higher than the mark for the other elements, the exam mark takes precedence.

Positive consideration will be given to student participation in class, particularly in the discussion of legal issues, analysis of case law, discussion of colleagues’ work, among others. Quality participation may increase the final grade by up to 1 (one) point.
