Education objectives

- Contribute to the affirmation of Gender Studies as an autonomous scientific area of research and advanced training through a targeted learning, with criteria of high demand and rigor.

Degree pre-requisites

The degree of doctor is conferred to those who have obtained 240 ECTS, by passing the doctoral course (80 ECTS), and the elaboration the Phd thesis, its discussion and approval (160 ECTS).

Conditions of admittance

Holders of a Master's degree or legal equivalent in different scientific areas such as Social and Human Sciences, Life Sciences, Technological Sciences, or any other scientific and artistic areas. Those who have an academic, scientific or professional curriculum especially relevant to Gender Studies, which indicates a capacity for the successful completion of this cycle of studies.
