Information Management Systems

Objectives

The course is based on the premise that knowledge about information systems (IS) is essential for creating successful, competitive firms, for adding business value, and for providing useful products and services to customers. The main purpose is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the theoretical as well as practical aspects of IS, particularly, how it fits into an overall corporate strategy.

Regular examination period (1st Call)

a) Quiz (10%)

b) Group presentation (40%):

c) Exam: 50%

 

Resit examination period (2nd call)

a) Group presentation: 40%

b) Exam: 60%

 

Notes:

- Penalties (1 point/day) will be applied per day of delay.

- Students will only obtain approval if they score a minimum value of 8 on the Exam, regardless of classification attained on a) and b).
