History of Lisbon
Objectives
Students should achieve the following objectives and competences:
a) To know the history of Lisbon in its specificity and identity, always taking into account its role in the context of the history of Portugal.
b) To learn about the city's geographical setting and how it has conditioned its history and development
c)To understand the process of growth and development of the city in its multiple dimensions and valences from a multidisciplinary perspective
d) To be able to integrate the study of Lisbon into a broader dimension that is the specific area of knowledge of the history of cities.
