Spaces and forms of Power in the Middle Ages

Objectives

1- To learn about the main issues related to the study of spaces and powers and their interrelationships.
2- To promote the capacity for critical analysis through the study of some of the historical dynamics and processes that involve either spaces or powers, or both.
3-To analyse specific cases of the medieval Portuguese reality in which the two aspects under analysis are particularly expressive
4-To encourage students to produce autonomous practical work, through which they can apply and integrate the knowledge and skills acquired during the semester.

Continuous assessment - Written research essay based on published data (80%). Attendance and Participation (min. 10 sessions): 20 % Note: Students with the status of worker-student perform a set of activities through the Moodle platform to replace the mandatory class participation workshop (100%)
