The assessment includes:
a) Project (50%)
b) Final exam (50%)
To successfully complete the course students must obtain a minimum score of 9.5 in the final examination, irrespective of marks obtained in a) or b).

Conteúdo

A unidade curricular baseia-se em aulas teóricas e práticas laboratoriais, recorrendo a casos de estudo e exercícios, quando tal se justificar. 
Na vertente prática da disciplina irão serem realizados um conjunto de aulas de laboratório informático  onde serão colocados em prática os conceitos abordados nas sessões teóricas com o recurso às tecnologias de suporte à Business Intelligence da Microsoft (SQL Server, SQL Business Intelligence Development Studio e Integration Services) ao dispor dos alunos nos computadores da NOVA IMS e susceptíveis de serem acedidos de forma gratuita através da Microsoft Campus License.

No âmbito da unidade curricular os alunos terão de desenvolver um projeto.
