Debates, estudo de casos e interação
constante com os alunos. Presença obrigatória. A participação ativa e ponderada
é encorajada. Os alunos são obrigados a ler a bibliografia “deve ler antes da
aula” e são aconselhados a fazer as leituras restantes da aula antes de cada
aula para poder participar.
Método de avaliação
Obter um mínimo de 8 valores (em 20) em
cada uma das duas componentes principais e uma média ponderada superior a 9,5
valores.

A1. Ensaio para casa - Os alunos devem
desenvolver uma análise (até) 4 páginas sobre um tema proposto, sustentada por
um artigo/paper de apoio. Os alunos devem pesquisar o tema, incluindo
fontes na web, e preparar um ensaio, simulando o papel de um orientador
de uma personalidade de alto nível. Os relatórios serão avaliados pela
originalidade e inovação, organização, clareza da redação e profundidade das
análises e recomendações.

A2. Estudo de caso em grupo - Em grupos de
3, os alunos podem preparar um estudo de caso de até 10 páginas sobre qualquer
tópico amplamente relacionado ao curso. O grupo, o tema e um pequeno esboço
devem ser comunicados ao avaliador do curso até o final da sessão 3. O
relatório será julgado pela originalidade e inovação, pelo uso de ferramentas
desenvolvidas no curso e outros recursos e, acima de tudo, pela qualidade da
análise e recomendações Para qualquer projeto, as diretrizes de formato são as
seguintes: margens normais, espaçamento simples, fontes Calibri ou Times New
Roman, tamanho 12 pp. Todas as fontes devem ser listadas.

B. Exame Final Individual: Um exame final, com duração de uma hora e meia, abrange todos os tópicos do curso. Ele assume que todas as leituras da aula foram feitas e os apontamentos da aula foram minuciosamente examinados. Leituras adicionais sugeridas na lista de leitura, não serão abordadas no exame final.

Serão abordados vários desafios de desenvolvimento enfrentados pelas nações pobres, com foco no papel do setor privado e dos gestores de negócios e enfatizando as implicações para o desempenho corporativo. Os desafios operacionais internos das corporações nesses mercados.
